My son and I had a great meal. Interesting modern decor, sushi bar, bar, great mix of jazz, rock, ambient contemporary music, with plans for some live combos in the future. Comfortable seating, and a mix of customers was there---yuppies to young families to more mature diners. All are welcomed by a pleasant manager and wait staff (still training). Not cheap, but quality menu--no Tilapia (LOL), a wide variety of fish and recipes, and they offer a raw bar. The lobster bisque is a new taste---yummy. Ex, son and brother-in-law tried it last night with a positive response. If we only budget for one or two visits, or lunch visits, a year, I will be seafood satisfied.
There's a real chef, well known in DC, in the kitchen! Taste tells, in my opinion.
