PTNW Alert: Sex Offender Stalking Our Kids?

Folks:

I'm receiving reports of a suspicious character driving a silver mustang who has been seen watching our kids get on and off the bus. Allegedly, this man is a sex offender not residing in our neighborhood. If anyone has first hand knowledge of this situation, please share with the rest of us.

My daughter told me that her friends said there was flames on the mustang also. So a silver mustang with flames....

If you are on the lookout, please be aware that this car while most likely is silver, may or may not be a mustang and the flames may also just be some kind of detail that is not necessarily flames. So just watch for anything that resembles this.

Here's the information I got from Shavon, the woman who actually reported the suspicious man:

Sorry it took so long to get back to you.Here is what I saw.It was about a week ago on Monday morning the kids were getting on the bus.I noticed a man in a silver mustang with orange flames on the side of the car (KMT-5720).He was waiting at the corner of Stanmoor and Riverwood watching the kids.I don't believe any of his kids got on the bus.He drove to the end of my street(which you can't get out of).He then left the area.My kids came home and said the car followed them to school.The next day on Tues morning about 10amm he came down my street again.Looked like he was looking for something who knows what.I was told that Liza Christine's mom saw him watching a young woman who was walking her dog.I did call the police and filed a complaint.What the police decided to do was go to his house which is on the South side of sterling and send a car out and ask why he was in our area.I never heard back form the police after that.They didn't share any info on the
possibility of him being a sex offender.I gather we all just need to keep our eyes open and report it again if we see him.I hope this helps.

I haven't heard much more about it. Perhaps, the guy figured out that we are watching him as much as he's watching our kids.
